Bio
Jo is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience in musculoskeletal outpatients and a fully certified APPI-trained Pilates instructor with 19 years of teaching experience, both live and online. Her approach is physiotherapy-informed and evidence-based, focusing on sequencing, progression, and the science of movement.
With a career that has included running a spinal rehabilitation service alongside surgeons—producing published research demonstrating the benefits of Pilates—Jo brings deep expertise in how intelligent movement supports health, posture, and resilience. Today, she specialises in helping midlife men and women (40s, 50s, 60s) improve strength, posture, confidence, and energy so they can feel and perform at their best both at work and at home.
Jo’s classes are progressive and carefully structured, ensuring that employees build functional strength that lasts beyond the mat. Her physiotherapy background ensures sessions are safe, achievable, and impactful—ideal for busy professionals looking to reduce aches and pains, boost energy, and build resilience.
